Client's Concern: Active inflammatory acne, frequent breakouts, post-acne redness, and uneven skin texture.
-
Treatment Plan:
-
Phase 1 – Skin Barrier Repair (Conditioning Facial): Began with calming facials focused on deep cleansing, hydration, and restoring the skin barrier. This foundational phase reduced inflammation and prepared the skin for more advanced treatments.
-
Phase 2 – Carbon PicoLaser: Targeted active acne, excess oil, and congestion while gently refining pores and improving overall clarity.
-
Phase 3 – PicoLaser (Without Carbon): Focused on post-inflammatory pigmentation and residual redness to even out skin tone.
-
Phase 4 – Microneedling: Introduced to stimulate collagen production, improve texture, and begin addressing early acne scarring.
-
Homecare Guidance: Customized skincare plan to control breakouts, support barrier repair, and maintain results between visits.

-
Sessions Completed: 4 visits over a 6-month timeframe.
-
Why This Approach Was Chosen:
Jumping straight into aggressive treatments can worsen inflammation in active acne cases. We prioritized calming and strengthening the skin barrier first to reduce sensitivity and breakouts. Once stabilized, laser treatments targeted bacteria, oil regulation, and pigmentation. Microneedling was introduced later to address texture and support long-term skin remodeling.
-
Results:
Significant reduction in active breakouts and inflammation. Skin appears calmer, clearer, and more controlled, with improved tone and reduced congestion. Residual redness and texture are now the primary focus as we move into scar refinement phase
Note: Acne treatment requires a staged approach focused on inflammation control, oil regulation, and collagen stimulation. Results develop progressively with consistent treatments and proper homecare. Further sessions may be required to address deeper scarring and texture concerns. Individual outcomes may vary.
From Active Breakouts to Controlled Clarity

GLOW FROM WITHIN
I’ve definitely noticed that I don’t break out as often anymore. Most of what’s left are just residual marks and texture from previous breakouts and purging. I’m really happy with the progress so far, and after my vacation, I’ll be coming back to continue working on the remaining texture and scarring.
